Morro do Sabão offers one of the most beautiful views of Ilha do Mel. The trail skirts Praia da Boia and climbs to the top, where you see Praia da Boia on one side, Praia do Miguel on the other, and Farol das Conchas in the background. It's 25 minutes of light trail from Encantadas. There is no shade at the top — bring water, hat and sunscreen. The 360-degree view of the south of the island is worth every step.
