Ilha do Mel has so much to offer that 3 days is the minimum recommended to see the main attractions without rushing. With this itinerary, you'll see beaches, trails, history, and still have time to relax.

Day 1 — Arrival and the South of the Island (Encantadas)

Morning: Arrival and setup

• Disembark at the Encantadas or Nova Brasília pier

Afternoon: Encantadas Beach

Day 2 — Nature and History (Nova Brasília + Lighthouse)

Morning: Conchas Lighthouse

• Lighthouse Trail — easy 20-minute climb

• 360° view of the island from the top of the lighthouse

• Don't forget: water, sunscreen, and a hat

Afternoon: Farol Beach + Fortaleza

• Walk down the trail and enjoy Farol Beach

• In the afternoon, visit the Fortress of Our Lady of Pleasures (18th century)

Late afternoon: Praia Grande or Miguel

• Choose: Praia Grande (extensive, for walking) or Praia do Miguel (intimate, beautiful)
